this has been sitting on my desk forever now and its time it finds a new home... Make any offer


Includes Laser Diode in module with collimator, Dual-Driver board with module attached and 9v battery clip.

This is my first (non scanner) related laser i purchased....I forgot about it until recently..I didnt build this and dont know too much about it other than whats listed

Any rough idea on the output power?

This is just a KES-400A diode w/ two circuit drivers to run the blu-ray part and the red part at the same time. Together, they produce magenta. I have to say though, $150 is a RIP OFF, especially with a cheap DDL driver. I've been trying to build this for a while now, but all my sled's diodes are broken. I have 1x good sled which I know is NEW, and so I'll carefully build it in the future. I just thought I should say, this is the KES sled, with the red probably running at around 50mA, and the blu-ray around 50mA (maybe more, maybe less). I'd guess the blu-ray would be around 20+mW, and the red around 5+mW

Edit: btw, I'm surprised to see that EXACT same pot I have is used on that driver:
