Just some pointers... you should edit your post and mention what condition it is in. Basically never used doesn't mean it's near-mint. Also posting pictures is a must, Any potential buyers are going to want to see what a laser that's been sitting on the couch looks like
Liston to him ^^^
And take a pic with your laser and your screen name on the forum as well, it helps confirm things.
But I'd edit your contact information OUT and give it to them when someone sends you a personal message and you can tell them then in a personal message.
I'll tell you one thing, you will not ever sell that thing with the post you currently have on this website. People don't say, wow you have a $1,000 bill for sale for $50? And i don't get to see pictures, details, or absoliutely anything, about what I'm buying, except for "it's near mint".
This is Just a reminder, if you actually wanna even attempt to sell it on these forums
The eBay auction for it is already up to $405, so I don't expect to sell it here.
But thanks for the info. I am used to selling computer parts where pics aren't usually necessary as we use feedback (Heatware, etc) to ensure safe purchase. I don't have a camera besides my cell phone.
Ebay banned selling of the Arctic? if that's true I'm glad I got mine when I did. I have noticed there is only one for sale on ebay right now...but he was clever enough not to use "Arctic" or "Spyder" in his listing.
Unfortunately, we had to remove your listing because the following information violates our policy:
We have removed your item because we do not permit listings for lasers with an output greater than 5mw. Please do not relist this item.
For health and safety reasons, most hazardous materials (such as fireworks, poisons, and radioactive materials) can't be listed on eBay. There are also federal and state regulations restricting or banning the sale and shipping of these items.
Anyways, I am not sure what kind of details I would have provided? It's not like I was selling a car. It's just a Wicked Lasers Arctic laser. What else can I say besides "new condition" ? It's not like it's got custom seats, an exhaust and 35,000 miles and a maintnence history, heh. All pertinent descriptive information can be obtained from Wicked.
Oh, let me suggest you guys use a reference service like Heatware. This reduces the need for things like pics with user names, etc as authenticity can be guaranteed by the sellers reputation. The reasoning for this is simple. It's already hardly worth the time and effort to sell $100 items on a forum, adding the work of unnecessary pics will just reduce the volume of the economy here. The use of something like Heatware can serve to improve the quantity and quality of exchanges.
Pics are obviously useful when needed to show the specific condition of an item, but when it's mint it's mint, especially for something simple like a laser.
All this whining 'cause I don't have a camera. :cryyy:
BTW, it's sold now (for $340) so this thread can be closed. I can't believe I actually made a small profit on the thing. I remember paying like $230 a long while back.
