Most 18650 chargers are 4.2V. Do you need a 4.3V one? IIRC they can only be used with a couple types of 18650's.

Yes , I'm in need of a charger that goes up to 4.30-4.35 volts.

i would look into hobby shops they offer cheap peak chargers that charge li ion and li po 18650s if you get a battery holder to attach alligator clips to.

4.35 volts is too high isnt it?

hell the charger could be 4.4

if you get one check it with a digital voltmeter.

There are some 18650 batteries that require up to 4.35 Volts

to be properly charged. I just need a cheap charger to work

for the 4.30 volt 18650's. I want a charger that's ready to

plug & play ! I don't want to have to assemble anything to

make the charger operate.

Its actually better to charge the batteries to 80% only, im charging my li-ion to 4v only, makes them live longer.
Not sure why you would want to charge them so high, i know its possible, but not good.

UltraFire !! Haven't you heard that the *****Fire batteries don't live up to their mAh ratings ?

Example : Listed at 3000 mAh (Actual--750--800 mAh). Which Ultrafire battery do you have ?

Check around and you will find out about the B.S. with those *****Fire batteries.

By charging the batteries only to 4.0v , you are not using them
to their fullest potential. You also are not giving the items that
you are using them in , the ability to perform at their very best.
I can maybe understand you only charging your 4.20v batteries
to 4.0v if they are any of those *****Fire named batteries.
(If you have them, please don't use them in your lasers)

I want to charge my 18650 batteries to 4.30 volts because they were
designed and built by the manufacturer to perform at the 4.30 volt level.
They are not just 4.20v batteries.

Im pretty sure i know how to use my batteries, im using panasonics.

From here:
Charging Lithium-Ion Batteries ? Battery University

Li-ion does not need to be fully charged, as is the case with lead acid, nor is it desirable to do so. In fact, it is better not to fully charge, because high voltages stresses the battery. Choosing a lower voltage threshold, or eliminating the saturation charge altogether, prolongs battery life but this reduces the runtime. Since the consumer market promotes maximum runtime, these chargers go for maximum capacity rather than extended service life.

There are a few articles which state that its gives you a lot more cycles if you dont charge them to the max.
Im not saying you should never do it, but i dont need to, its not like im using a ton of batteries every day.

I also use Pannys , along with Sanyo , LG , Samsung and others.

I try to mix up my battery usage.

i was talking about chargers not batteries.

did not know that about the uf batteries though.

most articles ive read say li-ion batts have memory and they must be fully charged each time.and run almost out each time.
ive read nmh batts have no memory but lower overal wattage storage.

Well, if you want some info about li-ion and nimh take a look at this faq:
Frequetly Asked Questions on How to Charge Batteries

My opus can actually charge to 4.3V i think, the problem is you have to open the charger to change the voltage, no idea why they build it like that. Ive seen people drill a hole into it so they can access the switch from the outside... in case you want to experiment with that...
Its not really cheap, tho.

It's not just the Ultrafire brand of batteries that are BS , it's

the whole line of the *****Fire batteries that don't live up

to the specs/mAh's they list.
