Wanted: My First Laser

Hey Crew,

My old love for lasers was recently re-ignited while I was at an outdoor concert last weekend (Wakarusa). At any given time during any of the concerts, I could look up and see dozens of bright lasers cutting across the sky from people at the back of the crowd. Long story short, it was beautiful!

So now I am looking for a laser of my own. I am willing to spend up to $70. The most important buying factor for me is visibility of the beam, and I am looking for something hand-held/portable.

for beam visibility you will want to go with green, but there is a close second and that would be the new 445nm lasers they are a true blue laser not violet.
You might be able to build a 445nm laser under 70$ but the laser is around 45 then a ddl driver 5$ then a heatsink 20$ then an old flashlight as a host.
Or just go and buy,

Will be very visible but remember to get some glasses for your laser, you can get more lasers but not more eyes.
