i have a Dx true 50mW laser That mode hops.
the beam is visible in lit conditions. it is very bright at night.
i will sell it to you for 40$ + ship
its about 9x stronger than the 5mw from dx

What Im going to do is get a 5mW (possible 10/ 30 (I will fit an extra IR filter)) green for beam and a more powerful burning red....

All you need is a green laser over 5mw, the more power, the brighter the beam. DX are a ganble hen it comes to their lasers, though most of them are good. Wesdaman14 was on laserchat the other day acting stupid, stay clear of him.

I ordered a KD 50mW Green (not arrived yet), and I've heard great things about it. For $26, it's a pretty good deal, clicky on-off, made of copper for better heat sinking, and they should still have some in stock.

dude, if you want to be able to see the beam at night, 5mW is NOT the way to go. a faintly OK beam would be something like this:

I bought one of these yesterday, and then I canceled the order a few hours ago, because my PL-200 arrived, and upon seeing that beam, i was like: SCREW THIS!!!
30mW IS THE WAY TO GO!!!
