SOLD It's that time of the year again. Tax Season! :cryyy:

That means you get to stock on some lights at a bargain prices, while I shore up my bank account just a little bit.

All prices include paypal fees, but do not include shipping.

In the US, shipping is $8 for USPS priority. All tracked, and if you would like, insured.
Outside the US, please PM me. If you are getting more than one light, of course shipping will be combined. I can also offer slightly cheaper shipping for the smaller lights, if you don't mind waiting for first class snail mail. :san:

First a modded Gold Skyray King (XMLU2, CW) (Link).
This light has an upgraded driver from Ric over at CNQ. The resistor has been swapped out for more current, cold welds resoldered, and some arctic silver added to help with the heat. Thread lubricated with silicone grease.

It is absolutely the most lumens you can get from a light for under $100. You simply can't beat it in terms of price to performance. It will come with a nice gift box, lanyard, and spare o-ring. Threads have been generously coated with silicone grease.

what do you estimate the king is putting out with the upgraded driver?

wish you had a smaller cheap light around 1000-1800lm although the king is really tempting......waiting on pictures though

I would put it at over 2400 lumens. It's an incredible amount of light for a small package. The only light brighter in this sale is the elektrolumens big bruiser, and it's not that much brighter. Of course there is no comparing the build quality.

No way to squeeze in more light. I mean there is, you can even get 3 or even 4 xmls in a 6p drop-in. Of course with that, you sarcrifice having a reflector, and have to use optics instead. Which means get a VERY bright light... but it's all flood, and you have to really watch your run time because it will get HOT.

Personally I prefer some throw to my lights... although flood is more practical indoors, throw is what makes you go "wow" outside, or lets you point things out to people.

Quick correction... I think having 101 fever for 3 days messed up my braid a bit. The gold SK is a SkyRay, not a fandyfire. Not sure why I was hung up on fandyfire. Probably because of the rook. (They look really similar.)

Mod was done by DarkSide (- I leave the flashlights to him, he's the expert flashaholic,) he told me he put in a better driver, to drive the LEDs a bit harder, and also a small resistor. I'll ask him for exact details with I see him, if you're curious for your own modding.

Cheers, Was going to pick up the fandyfire but it seems Spyderfire really wants it.

I'd love to know what mods have been performed on it though

Guys, quick clarification.

Aside from the Big Bruiser, which is sold pending payment, the other lights do not come with any batteries.

The Skyray Kings for example, would need to be priced over $40 higher for me to include batteries for you.

It's originally from FastTech, one of the first, supposedly better batches.

They seem to be very hit and miss, although personally I'm five for five with SK's so far (three from fasttech, one from manafont, one from CNQ).
