Re: Round III: daguin's Sale - UPDATE on the 120mW ML Argon :D

Is the Argon finally sold?
This is a great setup and 120mW is a rather hot laser.
Isn't that three (3X) times the rated output?
A very healthy laser, indeed.
And that 2499 remote is cool, too. ;)

Maybe ;)

I haven't done much "marketing" of it so it sits on a shelf :yabbem:

This laser is the second or third best laser that I've found out of all of the many, many pieces of medical equipment I've gone through

Plus, as it is offered now, it is "turn-key"

Peace,
dave

I know I will regret letting this Ar go, but I can't justify tossing $450 around at the moment, Holidays and all :p

Dave, if you ever find yourself with a krypton, you know who to call ;) I'm still waiting on the shipping quote :p

That's another reason I haven't bought it, and also why I try to promote gas for others :p

I want others to see the beauty of gas!

That said, I still need a healthy tube with ML optics, not tunable.

Ah, that makes sense...I'm just giving ya a hard time. This made my month though, so thanks for that. (And everyone else involved) I'll take good care of her.

Re: daguin - Krytons and Arctics, and HeCd's Oh My!

Unfortunately, I will have to pass on the HeCd. I've gotten a better offer for one, and it's UV, which is what I was looking for.

However, I am still waiting on a quote on shipping for the 127.

Also, if I recall correctly, the 907's are external mirror lasers, similar to the 107/127, can you confirm this? If so, I may be interested pending shipping. I am in need of a healthy Brewster laser for a proof of concept experiment that Sam and I are working on. I don't want to ruin a beautiful 46.5mW 127 by removing the mirrors, so a lesser output 107/127 or similar tube would be best.

Standing by for those quotes.

If you ever find your way into the possession of a Pockel's cell, and driver, we need to talk.

I have three
One was reserved for a member who fell ill
We were waiting, and hoping that he would get back to it

One was on loan up North
A friend needed a proven tube to work on and test a PSU he was trying to rebuild

I have been working on and collecting these for some time
A couple of things just came together to make it the right time to list these two

Hmmm. I don't recall the request for a shipping price
I can certainly do that for you if you desire

The 907 has external mirrors

I did a quick check of our PM's
It looks like I asked for your zip code again and then we got sidetracked into discussing the ILT and the HeCd.
My last message from you said that you would have to decline, but you may have just been referring to the ILT and the HeCd

I'll pop over to PM's when I finish here

Shame I'm all out of money...

Welcome to the world of being a laser hobbyist ;)
We have all been there

Peace,
dave
