Re: Round III: daguin's Sale

All of the 445nm lasers are gone (for now at least)

I'm dropping the price on the Kryton collection to $680, (shipped in the US)

Re: Round III: daguin's Sale - Price Drop on the Kryton Collection

Hi Dave,

Finished testing the Gold 445nm. Works perfectly. I'm very happy with it.

Thanks also for including the two batteries and the adaptors for using 18650s!

Take good care! :)

Hey dave, I'd be interested in that Ar laser. Though I must admit that this will be my first gas laser. Do I need anything extra for this laser? I saw that you put in a "bare bones" remote as well. Is there a better remote that I could look into?

So the fan you have for the PSU only runs off of 220V? Or does the PSU only run off 220V?

Re: Round III: daguin's Sale - 105mW ML Argon Back Up

I believe Daguin has both a 220V and 110V PSU, but the fan can only take 220V. So it will be necessary to either get a 110V fan or get a 220V to 110V converter

You could pick up a Cyonics/Uniphase model 2500
The 2500 has the "meter" integral and a nice enclosure

I think Merideth Instruments has some on eBay for ~$100, shipped

The one I have on hand requires you to use a DMM to read the output
It runs the laser without the DMM, but if you want to "know" what it is doing, you'll need to use your DMM
It doesn't have the nice enclosure, but it's $40 cheaper ;)

Both the Cyonics/Uniphase 2500 and the "bare bones" remote work perfectly well with the PSU

I also came across a 110V fan :D
It is a little larger than the 220V

It is big enough that it will probably need it's own shipping box
If you pick up the remote from me, I'll include this 110V fan for just the cost of shipping

With the remote, you're looking at $410, plus shipping for a complete, tested and working 100mW+ multi-line argon laser

So the fan you have for the PSU only runs off of 220V? Or does the PSU only run off 220V?

I have the 220V PSU on hand
I have a 110V / 220V convertible PSU on the way
It should be here this week

I have both the 220V and the 110V fans on hand

Peace,
dave

Re: Round III: daguin's Sale - 105mW ML Argon Back Up

I have that exact fan actually, I use it for my Omni 532, though the wires are flying like yours, the head has wires coming out with a clip, the fan clips to that.

Any chance I could get this discounted without the fan? I am greatly interested in this Ar.

The fan was added as a freebie

I also will have to contact the seller of the 110V PSU
It didn't arrive last week :(

Peace,
dave

Re: Round III: daguin's Sale - UPDATE on the 120mW ML Argon :D

Is the Argon finally sold?
This is a great setup and 120mW is a rather hot laser.
Isn't that three (3X) times the rated output?
A very healthy laser, indeed.
And that 2499 remote is cool, too. ;)
