Unrelated to lasers - looking for PSP expert

I know this isn't laser related, but I'm looking for someone reputable on a forum that I have done trading on, so I've come here.

I used to be in the PSP homebrew scene, but I bricked my psp and my friend never got around to making me a pandora battery/memory stick. Now I'm looking to unbrick it. I have the necessary memory stick files, but I'm looking for someone who would be willing to trade a pandora battery in exchange for a regular battery. I will cover shipping via paypal.

pandora puts the psp in "service mode" through the use of a code stored on a mem card.

And when you are done with unbricking and installing CFW format mem card and then, you just need to install psptool 0.8. In that program you can make pandora installation files, for any firmware. Do it. when it asks to press some key to bind that press some key. Then when you are turning on your psp with pandora battery it will work normally, unless you press binded key. That works for me, I figured it out myself.

EDIT: I also added a picture of what you have to do with battery. Just cut off the marked piece.

I hack PSP's, and have hacked them for a LONG time.

I got the whole pandora set-up for the phat's and slim's.

You need to have FW 5.2 or lower right now to SUCCESFULLY hack your PSP. and watch out for the TO-82 motherboard, theres a workaround for it, but requires a different method.

Only the earliest slims have the hackable motherboard.

The psp3000 CAN be hacked, but only the FIRST versions that came out.

The PSPGo can NOT be hacked.

I also have a PSP PHAT RUNNING CFW 5.00M33-6 from DarkAlex, So no need to mess with your battery man, If you need it hacked....

It seems like there's a small firmware inside the battery used to check if its genuine. Replacing that firmware with with a small script that takes the psp to run the xploit ables you to hack it.

No, pandora battery is just an ordinary psp battery with serial 0xFFFFFFFF. That serial can be set with program (but for that you need other hacked psp), or by cutting one leg of some component in battery (that way you cant reverse battery serial to normal, but you dont need other psp and it always stays pandora battery, but you can use psptool 0.8 to bypass going to service mode when powering up psp)

pwNd is 100% correct about the pandoras effects. The trick simply places the battery into service mode, and enables access to FLASH0 wich is where your firmware resides.

I have a hacked PSP, so instead of cutting your battery (and destroying it while opening it) find someone with a hacked PSP, or just buy a spare Pandora.

ALLOT of people dont know the FIRST thing about firmware hacking. and its not just a battery, you need to make a "magick memory stick", thats what they call it. has special files on it.

You need that to make a pandoras battery. unless you cut the pin, but thats a risky method.

So for people NOT comfortable with messing with BRICKING YOU PSP, I'd say $60.00 is an AMAZING price to be able to play games for free for EVER! and not just PSP games, SNES, SEGA, N64. and all the other ones mentioned above. That $60 INCLUDES those emulators, and the games, and your choice of w/e PSP games can fit on the memory stick you send me.

And my service isnt just to make a battery. I've got a 2nd service for that, its only $14.99 to have your battery pandorized by Dark Lasers.

actually theres a app called the hellcat installer that will turn you psp batt and mem stick into the pandora and "magic" memory stick. all you have to do is follow the instructions. you can change both back to normal when finished but you need a homebrew capable psp to run the app to begin with. havent looked into desperar del cemeterio lately but dax always does a great job on his installers and firmwares.
