Hey everyone I'm selling two used LPM's that I no longer need as I haven't bought a new laser in like a year and I need the money for my "new tv fund".
The first one is a Coherent lasercheck. This one works, but it does tend to 'under-read' the power of a laser by 20-30% depending on wavelength. It has some small burn marks in the plastic around the sensor from when I was measuring my herc and the sensor itself has a little white spec on it that might be a burn or something. I don't know exactly where it came from as it was on the sensor when I got the lasercheck.
Here are some readings that I got with this to show the under-reading problem
RPL 300= 230ish peaking at 250.
Pulsar 100= 70ish mw
5mw green= 3-3.8mw
Other than the problems this lasercheck works decently enough. It lets you adjust the wavelength from 400nm to 1064nm and comes with all of the original documentation and instructions. If you want a nice little LPM for cheap and you don't need perfect accuracy this will work fine.
I'll let this go for $80 shipped to anywhere in the US.
Lasercheck measuring output of 4.5mw lyra
The second meter is an Andover Holography LMP-1 that I aquired from Greg(stonetek electronics) a year or two ago. It comes with 2 attenuation filters and a cord to connect it to a computer. I haven't tried connecting it to my comp yet. The plastic filter has some 'melting damage' from measuring my herc a while ago. The glass filter is in perfect condition, but the meter hasn't been calibrated for it yet. I don't know how to do this so you'll have to ask around. If you're measuring stuff under 100mw you don't even need a filter. You can see me measuring my pulsar 100 in the pics below.
Selling this one for $120 shipped.
