I'm considering trading two of my most favorite and very low hours pristine lasers for a CNI-PGL-III-C 589

Item 1- PLE-Pro 800mW 532 comes with 10 Beam expander, a/c pulg in power supply and second battery tube with Pineapple style grooves. Owned by Gizmo and very recently re-built by Jetlasers. In spec and pristine as Gizmo and I take immaculate care of our toys. less than ann hour on this Laser. Package now retails for $840 plus $50 shipping new.

Item 2- 50mW 589nm Spartan Dragon Laser. Immaculate condition and I haven't used it more than an hour of run time tops probably way less. Current retail price of this laser is $420 plus shipping. Beam pics to be added soon.

If you live in a country that can recieve >5mW handhelds from CNI this would be an amazing trade for you! I love my Spartan but really prefer CNI for many reasons so thought I would see if anyone was interested in a trade to get a really nice 800mW green, while still keeping 589 in their collection. The CNI 589 MUST be the 80mW version, above spec, and in equal condition as the lasers I am parting with. I am parting with over $1450 worth of laser new for a unit that costs at its highest $880 but one I simply cant get here in the states hence, the killer offer.

Re: Trade a 800mW 532 and 50mW 589, for your CNI PGL-III-C 589?

You do know that the DL Spartan is manufactured by CNI right? Also, I doubt many people have a PGL-III-C that they're willing to sell/trade. Have you thought about buying an empty host from CNI and transfering the module from the Spartan to the PGL-III-C? I've never done it myself, so I can't say for sure whether this would be an easy job. But there are definitely some members able to help you with that.

Regardless of what you end up doing, good luck with the trade!

It's a hell of a deal for sure. If I were the one owning a 589nm PGL-III-C I would definitely take the deal. If I had the funds right now to buy one from CNI I'd likely be able to help you out. Although even if I could afford it, last time I tried buying from CNI they were a serious pain to do business with due to not accepting Paypal and such.

Why don't you just pay $100 for someone from abroad to order the laser, relabel and send it to you? Then you sell off your lasers. Will be far less expensive that way.

Had the exact same thought. I'd do it as long as I didn't have to go through the pain of paying CNI with whatever it is they want to be paid with.

Exactly what is it that they want that is an issue? Do they not take anything where you could do a charge back?
Seems like so none would be able to help with the purchase and just resend it as was mentioned. I would do it but obviously I'm in the states:(
By the way, that is a beautiful PLE all decked out:)

CNI wants to be paid through moneygram or moneybookers. Both these companies I've had accounts randomly being closed with funds still in it, for no reason at all. You can also not know if the money has ever been received by CNI until they confirm it themselved. Aside of that they usually ask quite a high fee for sending money abroad as well. I generally don't do any business with a company that refuses to accept Paypal.

Good to know I wasn't the only one who found it a serious pain to deal with CNI. Can't wait to see your builds show up, have fun!

Buying from CNI is one of the most complicated non straightforward transactions one could make. Good customer service though.

It all comes down to practice nwfreefly. On my first purchase it was hell to get myself a PGL from them(ugh, still remember it!). But after now having done it 3-4 times, it just as simple as buying with a credit card, plus about $40+ as fees :D
