Unfortunately it's below average, 52mW. :yabbem: That LPM test was done at 76°F.

I was hoping for at least average but that is just luck of the draw.

Overall I'm pretty happy. The beam is straight and it's pretty stable. I ran it for >60 sec and no mode hopping. And at least I have a green back in my collection!!

^^^If you have a spare set of 532nm blocking goggles that would also work. I actually find it easier to test that way. Difference vs ir filter, surprisingly, was very minimal, even when testing much more powerful lasers.

I totally forgot about that! I haven't had a 532nm laser in a while so they have been just sitting in my drawer. If I remember correctly, they are OD 4. I'll check it out and report back.

I supplied all of the green and 405, as well as 4 445nm lasers. DarkSide supplied the backyard with high evergreen bushes, the beer, and six 445's iirc. We also had 4 650nm lasers going.

All in all, probably about 15W of combined power in that pic:eg:

I had 3 more green lasers with with me, another 550mW or so, but they were all momentary on

So I took a LPM measurement through my Dragonlaser glasses and got a reading of 9mW. So ~17% IR.

Seems to be the general trend!

I'm thinking of doing something where it's like if you got the "super overspec" and your laser is below the average after you personally test it then you get a few bucks off your next purchase of a laser..

me too!
I have tested mine at night and i can see the beam very clear..is that normal?
At what PowerOutput you can see the beam at night without air polution(fog, smoke..)?

^^^Really depends on other factors too, like how dark it is, and humidity. IMHO for a beam to be visible you really have to have over 20mW of pure green. 50mW is very visible though.
