My super prometheus is back on the market! I'm trying to save up some money for a cruise over the summer, so this thing needs to go xD Anyway, this is a prometheus that was built with a 2.5W pump diode (as opposed to the standard 1.3W)  as confirmed by GooeyGus (the original owner). This means you can put in 2 CR123A's and get almost 700mw of 532nm! I have not kept the laser powered on for more than 2-3 minutes at a time at 700mw, but it should be safe to do so according to the manufacturer.

This laser was originally intended to run with a 18650 Li-on battery, which will put the power output at around 387mw.

I will ship this laser to MarioMaster who will meter it and then ship out to the buyer

Looking for around $620 shipped/insured OBO

I can never afford to buy this yet (only 16 & w/o a job... but when I get older, I'll def. get something like this).... but I just wanted to say, it looks amazingly awesome!! I'm surprised no one's snatching it up.

Its a shake. In some of the pictures i take it does that same effect.

EDIT: Oh wait! I think my x-75 does modehop. ;D So idk.

So what, you jam in CR123a's and the power doubles? Hmm, I'm gonna try that with my RPL... (same model as the Prometheus).

Looks great and the price is amazing if it REALLY is 700mw thats LESS them a one USD per mw!

"if it REALLY is 700mw" - Are you saying you doubt that the output isn't around 700mw, Eku?

It would be pretty hard-headed to not believe this, as I think there was a thread about this laser before.

"No worm no" why would you do that it pushes the diode a bit over the factory recommendation theres no way in hell i would attempt that with either of my $ 1,000 rpl's
