Very nice laser set you have there.

Couple of minor things... you may want to point out which laser is which. I'm something of a star trek fan, but even so, not to the degree that I know off hand which is the motion picture phaser, and which is the tv series one.

A picture of your lpf username, and today's date, wouldn't hurt either.

Last... a price breakdown if someone is not interested in the full set, but rather just one of the phasers.

What town in NJ are you in?

Thanks for the complements. Yeah Im not really interested in selling them seperate. It's a package deal unless someone is really interested and offers the right price. The sale is for best offer. I am about 20 miles from Atlantic City.

A package deal is going to be a very tough sell, these are only really appealing to star trek fans.

What is the G9 lens? I want a high power lens for my 405nm laser and I would love to buy that G-2 lens! I am at work right now, but tonight I will send Paypal funds for one of them if that is okay.

Which one I get entirely depends on what the G9 is and if it is as good, equal to, or better than the G-2 for 405nm lasers.

Edit: never mind grained told me what the G9 is.

the g9 is the lens that comes with the 9mm 445 diode. it has been shown to be just slightly "better" than the g1, g2 in terms of light it lets thru.

edit - missed your edit, must have been posting at the same time..........or not....i just missed your edit

edit again - you may want that extended barrel g9 - as i recall the focus ring on that 405 of yours threads pretty deep. you may need the extra length to reach the focal point of the laser

The problem is the G9 looks terrible with the 405nm. I tried it and it looks like a terrible circle that doesn't focus well.

Hey, sorry about this, but I didn't realize the G9 was basically the same thing as the G2 lens. I have the G9 lens so I am just going to stick with it.

Good luck with your sale, those are lovely lasers and i am sure there is someone out there who is looking for this sort of thing now.

Any pictures of the g9 lens? Where you able to safely extract it from it holder? And is it str extended housing?

I got this one from DTR with a diode purchase. I extracted it carefully from the housing and placed it in the extended shiny brass housing which i also got from DTR. I dont have a picture, but it was only used for about a minute or less and I decided for my purpose I needed a tighter beam for shooting to infinity. I currently have no use for it so that is why i'm selling it.
