This pick set features riveted aluminum handles. It contains a 5 picks with reenforced handles, 5 with standard handles, and 3 tension wrenches. The picks themselves are made of blackened spring steel. I have used this set many times and it's a great set of picks. I don't know if anyone on the forum has ever picked a lock, but this is a great set for a beginners or a seasoned pro, like me.....lol ;D. I'm looking for $50 shipped anywhere in the U.S., but please check local laws to make sure it's not illegal to have these picks. I know it's not illegal to have them in Michigan, but i'm not sure about other states. I will accept a trade for a laser. Oh yea, the set comes with a nice zipper leather carrying case.

I'm in the process of making a "how to pick locks" video and if you purchase this once I'm done making the video i'll send you a free copy, but I originally learn from
http://home.howstuffworks.com/lock-picking.htm and I went from there. It's a nice little thing to know how to do, I help out neighbors all the time.

Hmm, how difficult is it to learn, like how long did it take you? I am really interested in this, sounds fun and interesting.......

No lie right here true story.
I ordered my first pick set when I was 12 it came 2 days after I ordered it. It was the middle of winter. I looked at the set in awe for about 5 minutes, then I locked myself outside in the snow to "practice" on our front door. My parents were inside by the t.v. laughing and making bets when I would ring the doorbell to get back inside. About 3-5 minutes later I come walking in, they thought I took a key out, but no!! I picked it. Honestly picking locks is so much easier than I thought it would be! This isn't a gimmick or lie to get you to buy my set, but it's so much easier than I thought it would be. I would say that you could probably pick your first lock after getting the set in maybe 10 minutes. also, if you have any trouble I could upload on youtube a quick how to on picking.
Locks, and now my parents agree with me, are so overrated for protecting ones home. I taught a 8 year old cousin how to pick a lock in about 20 minutes and he could pick our deadbolt and door knob to my house in about 30 seconds for each lock!

honestly I just can't begin to say how easy it is to learn and how much fun it can be showing off! I remember making loads of cash of my olders sisters friends who didn't think I could do it.....lol ;D

ooo umm very skinny/small enough to fit into a lock and about 6in long topps. I didn't measure them, that's just a rough estimate, standard pick size, if that helps at all.

i'm sure you'll be a picking master now. Then, as I have realized, you will realize how pointless locks are and how easy they are to bypass.
