Re: 453mW green PGL-III-C-532 + 20mW PGL-III-C-473 for sale

310$ for 20mW of 473nm in a portable? Also, the dpss blues have a trend of "powering up" over time, it very well could end up avg. nearer to it's peak power...

EDIT; my 600th post! :)

I forgot about that... how blues are supposed to power up after you use them for a while. I've put about 3 minutes more useage on the blue.. I need to use it more! Another bump too.

:bumpit:

Good luck selling these beasts, especially seeing as the whole Arctic craze and 445nm diode availability thing has made 473nm a lot less marketable... :(

445nm did not change anything about 473nm on the collectors and enthusiasts market, just for noobs that want cheap blue. 445nm is awesome, but it is not 473nm.....IMHO

Mik,

It's a lower power output than mine was, but I may really really be interested in the PGL-III-C 473 depending on what happens with CNI. ( I currently have a 50mW in for 'repair'...) I may be, anyways; I have a bad feeling about where 473 is going. I'll need a few days to see where this is going, but is the 473 still available?

I understand the concern, and I would be upset too, but I really dont think they will screw you, the laser is in great condition, you didnt open or tinker with it, and its under warranty. Im sure you will be fine my friend, only problem you should have is the wait:)

I totally agree. But still, you must admit 473nm is harder to sell than pre-445nm.

Im interested in the green as well, but am broke ATM, however if you still have not sold it by the end of the month, around the 23rd, I will be able to afford it, not promising anything but I have been wanting to upgrade to a stronger green, my viper bores me after 445nm came out.

Lol, yeah I like the host alot. I will end up getting one in green eventually anyway, was hoping for some more power though, but a 500mW rated in the GB is $945. I do like 671nm but the 'C' host is $60 more than the 'M'....

Yeah I prefer the 'C', though I would not mind having an 'M' but not with all those saftey features especially the momentary switch with a 5sec delay, that sucks IMO.

Even with my 'C' hosts, I over ride the key switch/ interlock so its just the delay and the shutter....
