Surprised that HeNe hasn't sold...

I'll give some people a chance to grab a great starter tube, however, if it's not sold by Thursday, I'll grab it off you.

I could use a nice dual ended red tube for mirror testing.

How does the output of the waste beam compare to the main output? I'm looking for close to a 1:1 ratio.

About as strong as a dead giftshop pointer. It was enough to be shot into one of thkse photoresitors for some kind of output control I assume.

So about half the main beam? A quarter? I am looking for a tube with usable output on each end to use with mirrors.

I went all out with that. The voltage monitor is sweet and looks like it was part of the maglight from the beginning. Jayrob does good work.

I can do 250 shipped. Logically it can but the size of them wont allow thrm to fit in there. I have seen that mod to make battery connectors out of magnets and then you could aligator clip the other side and have the battery sitting next to it.

There is also a mod sold over on CPF that is a pvc 18650 battery blank with wire leads attached to magnets. Can charge any sized battery you want. FYI the i4 won't fit these batteries without a contraption like above. Costs $20 for one or $35 for two. I'm thinking of picking at least one up if I can get some money together sometime. If not it will run on 26650 and those fit in the i4

You would just need a spacer if you ran smaller batteries. The host was designed for 2 D size batteries and the 36650s are similar in size so no modification needed to be done to the host.

26650s didn't need a spacer in mine. 32650s are longer than D cells soJayrob cut the spring to make them fit but its still a little tight in mine. Idk about yours but I'm assuming the same since done by same guy. 26650s fit perfect with no spacer in mine but will rattle if you vigorously shake the host
