No unfortunately I don't. I've been looking for them and can't really find them anywhere. I want some of those for myself

Nice pictures but they are too big.
What ever happened to posting the thumbnails that linked to the larger files ?

Re: FS: Uranium Marbles, Round and Flat, Crackled and Clear *picture heavy*

I think the IT guys for the company might take exception to someone bringing in their own hardware and connecting to the network. Besides, these workstations have the LCD monitor with a keycard access reader built in. No regular monitor connections or access possible, even if I had the physical space available on my "desk" for one.
Besides, it isn't the size of the screen that is the problem. It is the quantity of data that has to be displayed that is the problem. The intranet connection from Winnipeg all the way out to me on the West Coast is very limited in bandwidth per user. The system can't "draw" the images on the screen fast enough. Trying to scroll down causes chunky blocks to be assembled on the screen and the movement is compromised.
Any fixes that I know that could be applied violate the ethics codes for computer access and operations. (I'm not an IT guy so I can't do anything about it !)

That's why I don't like the big pictures.
Now if I could repair my system at home....

Ugh... terminals... yuck:barf:

Yeah, I had a shitty computer where I work now, one day I just said screw it, grabbed one of my older towers, brought it to work and started using it.

Also gave my boss and invoice for it... in case he wants to keep it in the future I get a nice check.... either that or I keep all my files.

Meh, 5/8th uranium marbles can be had anywhere, for better prices too.

As for the photos, yes, they're too big. Sure, I have two giant monitors, but I don't want to fill them up with blurry images that could easily be 600px wide. I'm not going to print these photos; seeing the sensor noise in the photos is pointless. Nor should I feel that I should keep my browser full screen like I'm on some shitty laptop that serves as a glorified DVD player.

Wasting screen realestate is what Microsoft does with each new version of its OS because for some reason it thinks it must squander resources rather than make greater use of them. Don't promote that idiotic practice on the forum too!

I actually have like 200 of these things laying around my house collecting dust. I purchased them off of ebay like 10 years ago.
