Up for sale is my Survival Laser Stainless Steel 1.3W-1.6W SL-SS2-LHA Laser with extended Copper Heatsink with a standard Axiz 3 Element lens. Thus the 1.3W-1.6W as it's more likely near the 1.3W mark with the Axiz lens, but with a G1 or G2 lens will be near at or above the 1.6W mark.

*****This laser uses the higher output laser diode, a M-140 that I bought from DTR. ******

Please see my review of the laser here as it has all the specs, details, beam shots etc.... http://laserpointerforums.com/f52/s...ew-sl-ss2-lha-stainless-steel-host-72157.html

Since I don't have a LPM I can't be sure that it's truly putting out 1.6 Watts and thus why it's listed at 1.3W-1.6W, per the below recommendation.

It was the first SL-SS2-LHA Stainless Steel Laser host that Gary sold.

I can tell you that it has Moe's Driver set to 1.62 amps of output to the Laser diode, and that I bought the Diode from Jordon (DTR)

The Host is of course from Gary of Survival Lasers or Garoq here on LPF.

I built the custom glow rings that you see on the laser. They have a beautiful Sky Blue glow to them and the glow lasts about 5 hours or so before needing recharged.

Below are the newest pics of the laser and what's included in this listing for sale.

Included in this sale is...

The SL-SS2-LHA Stainless Steel Host w/ Gary's Conical focuser and my custom Blue Glow Rings.
(8) 800Mah UltraFire batteries.
Case for the Sl-SS2-LHA Laser.
and wall Charger

I would like to get $160.00 Or best offer for all.

If interested please PM me as I take Paypal.

Thank you..

Approved.

Just to say, I have two of these and they are about the best host's I've ever used.
They feel heavy & solid in your hand.

does this still have the extended copper HS?

Thank you!

Yes, it's very nice!

It's the best Blue Laser that I have owned to date, and I hate to sell it but alas bills prevail!

Would this be a good unit to get for burning pest aquarium inhabitants? I have read all of the threads here and over at reef central about the success they are having with lasers. I would need to get a set of safety glasses. Is there anything else I would need?

You can do with it what you want within the law, but be very very careful about how you use it, as it will blind you and others in an instant without Eye protection, and it will also burn skin.

I always wear eye protection at all times with a Laser of this power!!

If I had a spare set of Glasses I would include them for sale with this laser, but I don't.

Nice looking, powerful unit!

Yes it is a VERY nice looking laser. We really have no idea of how powerful it is though since it has not been LPMed. It uses the 3-element glass lens NOT a G2. At 1.62A with a 3-element lens I would estimate between 1.3-1.6W MAX. That is with an M140 diode. I haven't been able to find any info on what diode this is A140 or M140. An A140 of course would be less.

@OP you really shouldn't be advertising a specific output for this laser since you have no idea what it is actually putting out. Kind of a No No around here. An inefficient diode could only be putting out 1.3W with the 3-element lens which is significantly lower than what you have posted. If you would like I can be a middle man and LPM the laser for you before sending it to your buyer. No charge or anything like that just trying to help you and your lucky buyer out. It really is a beautiful laser. I love the added style this one has. So if anyone is interested in buying this and you want it tested out properly my offer is on the table for you.

I hear ya!

Yes, that's why I said should be outputting 1.6W with a G1 or G2 Lens as it will come to the buyer with an Axiz standard 3 element lens.

So, whoever puts a G1 or G2 Lens in, will for sure be getting around the stated 1.60W out.

I did mention that I have no idea of the power out, as I don't have an LPM.

I just listed it for it's potential, as It can and does have the ability to achieve 1.6W out with the right lens and with it's 1.62A driver.

The Diode is an M140, so yes it's closer to the stated 1.6W out.

I'm sure that DTR can tell you that if someone want's to ask him or if he sees this listing, as he knows what I bought from him.

Thanks everyone!

I am just saying in your first post and the title of the thread you have eluded to it being 1.6W 3 times without any testing having been done. You locked in on a number that you guessed at. If you feel like you need to post a power instead of only listing what you know (driver current, lens, diode) than at least post a range IE..... 1.3-1.6W Also you should mention the lens and diode that is being used in the first post. Those a vital. Hope this helps.

It's all been corrected, thank you.

I just asked for buyers to use my review for the information on the laser rather than re-posting it all and they would know that it comes with just the standard Axiz 3 element lens and that I'm not sure of the output being nearer the 1.3W range or the 1.6W range but that with the right lens Eg. a G-1 or G-2, it should be outputting 1.6W but I understand, so it's all been changed to be more correct in all the listings stating a power range between 1.3W to 1.6W output.

Thanks for the help.
