Hey everyone. This won't be a typical Wolfman29 sale thread because this is a common build.

Recently, I got a solid silver host in the mail. Knowing well that it will be better for duty cycle than this stainless steel monster, I figured I would sell off this guy because I will instead put a >2.5W laser in the solid silver host.

Anyway, here are the specs:

Wavelength: ~445-455nm
Battery input: Positive first
Battery type: 2x 16340 or 2x 18350
Driver type: My very own BlitzBuck V3
Diode type: 9mm 445nm diode
Driver current: <2.05A
Lens: Stock 9mm lens

This is a very solid and very easy build. The driver fit perfectly into the pill as I designed it to, the copper module fit perfectly into the copper heatsink as designed, and everything went together perfectly. I really do like it, but it's a bit too plain for my collection.

Anyway, pictures. Note that these pictures do not have any extended exposure, smoke, etc. These are simply cell phone pictures.

The batteries do not draw much current at near full charge, which is good because it means it is not necessary to use name-brand, IMR batteries. The run taken on the above laserbee shot was using brandless 16340s that I got from Kiyoukan.

Anyway, I am asking $225 shipped (to US only).

Thanks!

These are great hosts, I basically have the same build, except Ive got a crap 9mm diode, barely does 1.2w @1.99A drive current :/

Wow! That is a great price for a 9mm diode build. That being said I think that 2 IMR 18350 would be a great advantage to insure this build maintains that high output while the batteries discharge and drain. I have an extra set I can send to your buyer if you/he/she would like. Good luck with the sale!!!

Thanks! If you would send that extra pair, that'd be awesome! We'll talk about that later?

Wow, very nice build!

An attractive price especially for one with a 9mm LD, should make this go quick.

Good luck with your sale!

Hmm...

Doesn't PP include a shipping address or was the transaction not via PP?

Cheers!
