I did, yes. I've passed this opportunity up too many times now since getting my scanner, regrettably even with you - but if I didn't pull the trigger soon on this I'd probably never get my hands on a DAC or any software. Per your advice I also really wanted to get LSX so I still owe you a dozen 'thank yous' for your help and pointers when we talked before I'm definitely going to bleed a little for doing this & will probably be sleeping out on the front lawn for the next couple of weeks, but I tend to do this every now & then and I know it'll be worth it. :beer:

Good to hear.. It sounded like you are looking for a plug and play setup rather than experimenting with hardware and software so I think this was the best option for you anyway even if it cost a bit more... And LSX looks far better than spaghetti IMHO. I'm still around if you need any more help though.. I am still waiting for parts to start showing up for my fancy interlock box...

Silver ended up buying my DAC, I just shipped it out tonight... Sounds like he's trying to put some sort of frankenprojector together so I hope it all works out for him... I've never got that involved with the building side of it myself yet...

Hey at least you have your projector to keep you warm on those cold cold nights ;P

Thanks, I have been meaning to make that avatar ever since I stole the idea from Things, I just never got around to it... I could have done it in Spaghetti a long time ago but I was just too lazy... But yeah my pangolin showed up and its so great. Honestly the hardest part about it was making it into a gif... I couldn't find a singe free program that would make the avi into a gif and I had to use an online thing that made a 75 mb gif that was like 5 minutes long then o had to resize it and speed it up with like 3 other programs and a website.... Fuck animated gifs.

But yeah Quickshow... Holy shit. And the FB3 is such a nice DAC in both form and function... If it wasn't for Garys little flip out I probably would have never even tried the demo... Is it ever bloody expensive though.

EDIT: I meant a progrm to convert the avi to gif that worked. And that looks a lot more impressive in real life and when it's not 200x200 pixels.
