I had these up on ebay to attempt to raise money enough to buy a metal lathe so I could make fancy lasers, and I'm done with these. Too many times I've had customers complain or give me bad reviews because these seem to break during shipping for some unknown reason, even if I protect them from shock and static electricity. They're all working fine right now, and have been tested extensively.

Send me a PM, and I'll send you a PayPal invoice for $0.30 + shipping. If it doesn't turn on (1:6 chance) then I'll refund your money and apologize deeply. A couple are 180mw and 190mw, but I'll send those last. If you want more than one, just say so. I'm going to apologize in advance. I'm sincerely sorry for how this transaction turned out.

Dodgy 660nm 200mw 301 Laser w/ Printed Power Graph (no battery)
$0.30US+Shipping
Remaining: SOLD

Re: $0.30 + shipping: Power metered 200mw 301 lasers

Would you ship to Europe?

Yes. Shipping to Europe from here is about 7-8USD, I'm not sure how much exactly. Just in case one of them breaks, I'd rather send you 2 lasers so I wouldn't owe $8 out of my pocket

By the way, please post a thread in the Welcome section

Re: $0.30 + shipping: Power metered 200mw 301 lasers

I'm glad I was able to make a few people happy.
Aside in this thread, does anyone know why these 301 lasers break when shipped? I'd never had one arrive to me dead from China, and I'm assuming they do it by boat. I'd sent them in First Class and Priority Mail, and had quite a few end up DOA, even though I'd protected against shock and static electricity. Maybe something wrong with a capacitor on the boards, such that it would spike when first turned on after shipment? I've also shipped countless chinese laser pens, and nothing ever happened to them, leading me to believe it's an electronics issue

Maybe they play with them at customs?

Damn, they got sold so fast.
Are you planning on selling anything like this soon?

I'd never sell 301 lasers again in a million years. There's something wrong with the board that causes them to mysteriously die during shipping, and I've had to send replacements for every few other sales. Either that or people didn't understand the concept of the electric key switch.. I hope not.
But here's how I got them. On ebay, search 'red burning laser'. Set the search for 'Buy it Now' only. Arrange the results from lowest price + shipping first, and buy any red laser under $8. Do not buy from LEDQueen and Elecmall because their quality is surprisingly sub par compared to other chinese sellers. My original seller is gone now. But 200mw for a red 301 is pretty standard

Just confirming my 660 nm 200+ mw arrived in visibly undamaged condition.

Just awaiting confirmation of 18650 use (Known) vs two 18350 or two 16340's as an option.

:D

Got that the cells go head first and it HAS reverse polarity protection.

Got your PM
18350s are a little longer right? The cheaper worse quality ones from places like elecmall, it might push the laser module out of place, but these (the best quality ones), I never tried it. Just 5v max, everyone; one cell.
Side note: I tried running a 3v chinese laser pen on like 8v before just to see what would happen. The power didn't increase, but it probably made the board just hotter. Totally different driver from these 301s though, so take caution. Also, this: Negative voltage on AA battery You run the risk of ruining your lithium cells if you use 2

It arrived UN-damaged, and, it working order :san:

Thanks!

Yeah if its a 5v max, then one cell is all it needs.

You had mentioned 18650, and two 18350 are the same LENGTH and DIAMETER as one protected 18650, so, while it WOULD fit, the voltage would be closer to 7-8 v than to a max of 5, etc.

A 16340's doubled are about the same as an unprotected 18650, but skinnier.

So, at anyrate, that makes one 18650 the cell of choice...and, with one, the laser works perfectly, no problems, and the shipping did NOT kill it.

:thanks:
