I gotz something a cookin :eg: Right now a larger laser, and waiting for another
trial batch for my 3W+ 445's..

Finding a suitable host for an array has been more trouble than anticipated :banghead:

I might switch to the leadlight pens for the smallest ones I make. I like the
stainless, but I think a 3mode pen that takes standard AAA's may be
a better idea..

I hate ordering so much from China, takes too long, and its hard to find
reliable product.. I got 40 pieces of 10440's not long ago, not 1 was a decent
battery, only a couple would take a charge... Its too much of a crapshoot IMO.

this is the first time reading about the 10440's
since they are the same size as a AAA, what will happen if you put two of these in a typical AAA cheap lasers?
will it die the second you turn it on?
or will it have a "super bright" green for a while until something burns out? (cheap laser anyways)
thanks!
great laser btw!
you can give someone a seizure with that XD

If you use a single 10440 in a green laser pen that is meant to take 2 x 1.5v @ 3v
you will possibly get a slight increase, or not. More current into a DPSS laser does not
always give you more visible output.. It will give more current to the IR LD, but that
doesnt mean that the increase in IR will convert to green. Most china pens are already
at their individual best, there is not much room for improvement when they are made
to squeeze all available mW already.

If you put 2 in place of the 1.5v AAA's, (7.2-8v) you would have a dead LD or
driver, or both...

I do have 1 left but its not adjustable focus... It has the same
output, 3modes and same host / size. The focus is preset...
It also uses the same lens, the only difference is the cap..

Thanks, but I think i'll wait for a focusable one, unless you don't plan to re-stock. Will you be selling more in the future? Or is this the last one you plan to sell?

Hi WB,

When will this product be available again?
I'm interested and planning to purchase one from you. Do you ship to Indonesia - Jakarta?

Thanks,

Do you set the focus preset to it's maximum burning power?

No he wouldn't because max burning point is a pin point but shine it on the wall its a focused flashlight. So it would be around even.

I set the focus on it to the smallest spot size achievable at 100ft or so..

They deliver a lot of power, but its for a short period. Finding good 10440's
can also be a pain so using one of these for a burner is not the idea...

If you want burning power for several mins straight, something larger would
be much more suitable...

Im not sure if I will be selling these again... But if there is enough demand
I will probably do another run :D
