I have a solid 2.5+ Watt blue laser for sale. The host is made from stainless steel. The surface has a very fine matte finish. The laser feels very heavy in the hand.
It has the M140 445nm diode in the copper module, mirror finish copper heatsink and a G9 lens.
The buck driver is sinked to the copper heatsink.

The specs :

Diode : 445nm M140
Output diode : 2.5+ Watt
Output buckdriver: 1.9A
Lens : G9
Power supply : 2x 16340 Li-ion rechargeable battery
Duty cycle : 60sec on/off.

The price is $260

The color of the beam don't looks like violet as in the picture. In reality it is blue.

Hihi, yea sure. :tsk:

I forgot to mention the metal knob. It is almost a 1/4" thick and completely massive. No mushy silicon knob on this laser. ;)

So, if I buy this laser what will I need to be operating it whenever I want? Will anything likely go wrong with a homemade laser of this power? I will have cash on the 15th (payday)

Hey chief...just so you know lighting your mar*****a with this laser is a bad idea....maybe if you are using a "Water Pipe" it would be okay, but he glass of it would have the potential of reflecting the laser beam up at your face.....Trust me, that IS NOT the kind of baked you want to be :P

Well it has a duty cycle like all handheld lasers. Stainless steel is not so forgiving on thermal cooling like copper or aluminum. But steel has still a decent thermal transfer.
I would suggest 45sec on and 30sec off.
