Thats a very fair price-still under warranty- has a nice shutter to keep dust out and is focusable too. I had several wanting this or similar JETL lasers in the last GB that needed more time...well here is a good chance to own a JETL and you wont need to wait long. nice pics +1 for the effort.(when I can)

Thanks, that's a good point that I forget - still lots of warranty left
The other comment I would make is that I'm open to offers, and with respect to trading for a 593.5, I'm also open to tossing in some extra cash, depending on the relative values of the two lasers.

I'm trying to both pair down, and broaden my collection a bit. I'm determined to find a way to get 488 portable, and after that, something in the low 600s (which seems to be next to non-existent at present). I do love this laser though.
I'm always open to offers, and I'm never one of those who starts crying foul if someone criticizes a selling price. If I'm asking too much, I'd always like to know

I think your price is more than fair considering a 400mW version goes for $549.99 before shipping, and $410 is even below the GB price iirc. It's still almost double of what I can offer at the moment

Looks amazing... Wish I had the extra money... need to go clean up at the casino...
I'll trade a Spartan 445 with busted diode and Spartan 532 with scratched lens and Nova x150 putting out 75mW now... plus some $ lol

i wonder how they correct the beam to be 6 sided? the mitsu's are terrible and i've been trying different ways to "even" it out.
real nice lite there, i need to buy a camera before i spend one more $ on lasers tho.

I am not sure that jetl is using 5.6 mm Mitsu diodes -my guess is C mount diodes.
Asking Gray will get you an honest and quick response. IIRC one of us posted the data sheet on this.
I have one of these coming soon so I will be posting a new review with as much as I can find out--hope it is as much OSpec as this beauty.
aryntha needs to see this if his spousal unit permits he would jump on this 635...
