Its a Diode Direct Press Module. So You would take your diode and press it into the back of the aluminum Module that iam Offering. Then you would screw your lens into my Module then Slide the Module into the Aixiz Mount and Tighten the set screw on top.:)

You could always make a collar to fill the gap and sell those as well. Some people
purchase their diodes already pressed, and this way the option would be there
for both types..

Tedious work, but im sure many will buy both..

^ exactly.. A 12.5mm O.D with the standard 11.92mm I.D. This way
you can slip the collar over the aixiz module, then fit it properly into
these mounts..

Id imagine that the wall being nice and thin, you would not need an additional set screw..

Oh i see.:) Not Possible I dont think.:( The Collar would be <2mm in size and I dont think i can get that close without making the piece collapse.

I will give it a Try.:) Thanks for the Suggestion.

Edit:

The holes on the Mounts are 12.45mm.

Look at my Edit above your Post.

Mounts are 12.45mm.

Its to light of a tolerance i think.

What I dont understand is why they make these things larger than 11.92mm
Isolating diodes is one thing, but the seller could have offered both. After all
most people would prefer a tight fit over trying to shim the LD mount

Yea i know. They are not meant in the real world for laser. I dont know exactly what they are used for but i think they are some kind of plumbing pipe holder or something and it was close enough to an Aixiz Module so they started to sell them as such.

So i know a Few people have some of these sitting around not in use since the Aixiz module is too small to fit correctly making them Inefficient with heat transfer.

Here is a thread showing some better pictures of the Gap i did a little wail ago using an Aixiz Module:

Tried to keep them as cheap as possible. They are alot of work more then making a heatsink.

Thats why iam only plaining on doing 20.
