The HeNe's are not expensive... the Argon is decent for 8 lines

I would agree on the argon. 8 line argon should have lots of life left in it.

Those HeNe tubes may not be expensive, but they are not cheap either.
3.8 mw for a green for that price is fair, same with 18mw red, but it's finding the right buyer. :)

They may eventually sell. I would consider if I didn't already have a half a dozen reds over 15mw and a couple greens.

I just want to chime in and say the market for ArIons has shrunk drastically in the last few years. I last tried to sell my 80mW 8line (seven when warm) for $400 and had no luck whatsoever. I even offered to trade it in part (plus $100) for a 593.5nm hene and got no takers.

I don't remember seeing a power reading for the 8line in question here, but I probably just missed it.

I'm still interested in the Argon, but not at $400. I realized the fact that it's 8-line ups the value a bit, so I really hope you sell it for the asking price. Down the road, should you decide to come down, shoot me a PM. Good luck with your remaining items!

The argon I'm selling does 3mW at min and 86mW near max

Price dropped on the argon :p

Those are nice strong lines. My 8liner only has a weak 8th line, which is why it disappears and goes to 7lines when warm.

Yeah the 8th line is fairly strong but doesn't come in until I've turned the pot up a decent way, maybe 70% to max or so

I love the way my camera captured the wavelengths in that photo :drool:
