Damn I am almost tempted to buy this one as well. It might be better to give someone else a chance though. Nearly bring tears to my eyes nearly a watt of blue for 150.00

I love your camera man. It takes awesome pictures of the beamshots. I can't control the exposure or anything on my camera so i get crappy beam shots.
I finally finished me 445nm today, i estimated the total cost to build it was around $48. I did mostly trades for the parts...if only i could of traded for a preset microdrive it would of only cost me like ~$25

I have been very happy with it so far. Like anything I buy I do a good amount of research before I buy. And of course I got a great deal on it online.:D

Good to see your host is running. Got any stats on it yet?

Nah I sold my laserbee back in december.

I know it's freakishly bright.
the driver is set to 1A
uses an 18650
the host starts to get warm after about a minute.
It seems to stay at that temperature though, so i guess thats where the heat and the heat sink hit a stalemate of sorts.
Definitely brighter and stronger burning than the last biggest laser i played with which was a 450mW 8x 405nm back when they first showed up.

That's me flux. Good $h!t.

When Flaminpryo first sent those flux filled needles to me I opened it at work. Had to explain that one.

I do have to say it is great for applying flux into small areas like the battery and diode connector holes in the Flex and Microboost.;)

It makes me happy.:p

If I ran out of flux I would definitely go into withdraw and it could even lead to a nasty case of turrets syndrome.
