Edit... Scratch that, since it's running off of a mosquito, probably just one battery... but which one is a good question.

Re: FS: "The Dart" - Silver 500mW+ 635nm

Just wondering, I read it twice and didn't see it posted so I figured I would ask.
I would love to have one of these, love that color.
I figured either an 18650 or 16340's.
I guess I will have to wait until tomorrow night, 5am comes awfully early.

No no no :) This is a small pocket-sized build! I should have put a coin in for scale, because I think their relative compact size is one of their best qualities.

Not only won't an 18650 fit in here, but even a 16340 will have too wide a diameter!

These are CR2 all the way. I'll ship them with a single magnetic space that is sometimes useful because CR2s can be a tad too short, but these are 100% CR2. The host was originally meant for 14500 (AA), but with the driver, we loose a bit of length, and luckily the inner diameter is larger than 14mm, and fits a CR2 (15mm diameter) just perfectly.

Another little cool trick I'll tease:
- Using a typical 3.7V (blue) CR2, you get the normal LPM'd specs
- Using a low voltage 3V (green) CR2, you get almost exactly half the output power.
So it's like having the ability to go "low mode" if you ever want to. Blue CR2s for full power, green for low :)

WOW. Those look great. I wish i could get one but I can't right now, though I think 635 would be fun.

Great work! Love the 635nm and I use it a lot! I find it is good to have several CR2 green batteries, as it is easier to have a charged one on hand... they run down after just about 10 min. in my use, is this an indication, the batteries are losing the new mah with age? Thanks again, for the awesome work! -Glenn
