SOLD OUT...again

I've got some more of these available. Around ~20.

These are the kit prices:
USA customers:
1 kit - $10.00 ea.
2 kits - $7.50 ea.
3 Kits - $6.50 ea.
5+ kits - $6 ea.
10+ kits - $5 ea.

International orders are restricted to purchases of 5 or more kits, and must add an extra $10 to their order for flat rate priority mail.

My objective is to clear these out. So the more you get out of my work space the cheaper they are.

Host is blue anodized aluminum. Side mounted reverse clicky switch
3xAAA battery holder.

More than enough room inside the host to mount your drivers whether it be rkcstr, groove, microboost, odicforce, o-like ect....

Heat sink is 1.09" OD x ~0.60" length (0.05" tolerance). Has 1 set screw in the side.

This "kit" comes with the following:
Blue host with 3xAAA battery holder
custom aluminum heat sink
Black carrying holster

Pictures and video below....

Re: Clearance Sale!!!

I don't remember from your other thread but can that tail cap be modified to accept a 18650?

Re: Clearance Sale!!!

That was a different host.

This one won't accept an 18650.
The battery holder can be modified to use 3 10440 in parallel to power a 445nm, it can also use another type of battery, not sure of the name but DTR used it for a 445 in his review of this host in the reviews section

Re: Clearance Sale!!!

This host has the 3XAAA battery catridge similar to my MXDL 3405 which I modded to fit 2XCR2s or 2XRCR2s, it might be possible to do the same with this one. Or as you said DTR 1X18500, lots of options, nice!!

Incoming PM!!

yeah 2xCR2 option would not be a problem at all. You'd probably want to get a short piece of PVC pipe to slide in there to make it a better fit for them though.

The bottom of the tail cap does not have a big unnecessary plastic spacer in it like the MXDL did.

Also I suggest some glue to hold the retainer in place.

If you try to force the unit to accept an 18650 you could damage the momentary switch by putting force on the retainer. This is one of the reasons I suggest glue to hold the retainer in place.

Re: Clearance Sale!!!

I use a piece of 3/4 inch PVC as a sleeve for the CR2 in my MXDL that centers the batteries and a 1CM neodymium magnet (also know as a strong, rare, earth magnet) as a spacer between the two batteries.

Oh well, if it doesn't work there are the other battery configuration options (3XAAA or 1X18500) for this host.

Actually, in my MXDL build, its a LOC-815 w/ rckstr driver, I started using 2XAAA (Li Ion) in the 3XAAA battery cartridge (just jumped the other AAA slot) before I did the CR2 battery mod.

Re: Clearance Sale!!!

When you say all sold out for now, do you mean the 20 you have on hand? or do you have more of these coming at this price? If so, I'd take at least 3 kits, possibly 5 or 10.

Re: Clearance Sale!!!

I believe i'm sold out for good.
I've got ~20 left that need heat sinks. They are spoken for though.
