Used purple iPhone 4 CaseMate case up for grabs. If you are looking for the perfect case for your (or your girlfriend / wife's) iPhone, this isn't it. It's not that it's bad, it's just not up to my picky standards.
First it's a hard plastic shell with rubberized grips and button covers. This isn't all that bad, but it makes getting it on and off the phone more of a challenge then I like.
Second, as you can see in the pictures, this thing is injection molded (two small bumps on the inside) and this was done with less precision then should have been. It basically makes those two spots a little higher on the outside of the case. Again this isn't much of an issue, but if you keep the phone on vibrate the phone tends to self rotate / spin on these points if it's on a flat surface. Also these two spots are a tiny bit scuffed more then the rest of the case.
Just to be clear, my wife has used this case for at least 6 months, so it does have some normal "wear and tear". Mostly just small scuffs and scratches. None of these will keep it from protecting your phone but in the interest of full disclosure you should be aware of it.
If you are still reading this far and you are OK with these imperfections, the first one to PM me can have it shipped anywhere in the US (First Class, not priority) for a mere $5.00. This is mostly just to make sure I'm covered for the padded envelope, postage, and PP fees.
If you *REALLY* want me to, I can post a pic with my name on it as well, but it's not like your $5.00 is going to finance my retirement.
Any profit made after shipping and PP fees will be donated to LPF. I've yet to donate, and while this won't be much, it's better then nothing. :beer:
