Each one comes:
  • Pressed into a Moh copper module
  • with 24AWG silicon wire leads soldered on
  • with a G9 lens in a DTR lens barrel.

Measurements were taken at 2A for each diodes, with a G2 lens.
Power measurements were taken with a Coherent Fieldmax.
Wavelength measurements were taken with a science surplus spectrometer.
Modules may have cosmetic damage on the front from pressing.

$85 >2.6W
Diode #1 - 447.5nm
Diode #2 - 448.5nm - Note: This diode was pushed into a shorter module than normal and will come with a shorter lens barrel to compensate.
Diode #3 - 447nm
Diode #6 - 447.5nm
SOLD - Diode #4 - 448.5nm

$75 >2.5W
SOLD - Diode #5 - 449nm
Diode #8 - 447.5nm

Re: FS: Binned 9mm diodes

Awesome! These are great prices, especially since they come with the G9 lens already in a lens barrel

Subbing, I may purchase one ;)

No 450nm+ ones? Did you keep them or did they all do between 445 and 450nm?

Re: FS: Binned 9mm diodes

Is it possible to buy them without the G9 lens for cheaper? I'm very interested but I already have a bunch of the o-like lenses from the recent GB.

Can't do that. I have no use for so many lens' without the diodes :p
These lens' are better anyway, compared to the ones I got from the O-like GB.

I kept one that peaked slightly above 450nm, and some other low power ones, but the rest were in this range.
Edit: Keep in mind wavelength will shift higher when these diodes get hot inside a handheld, and if they are driven at higher currents.

Lower power diodes both claimed.
High power ones still up for sale :)

Re: FS: Binned 9mm diodes

You know who to call if you get another 450+ ;)

May snag the 448.5. I know it's a tough question to answer, but any idea how high these will get compared to their current numbers? I can't imagine more than another 2nm.
