.Finally got in the 10440 and green host! Just need to get a module now. Unfortunately i think i killed the 10440 though already. I put in a trustfire 10440 that Cliff had sent me (+ down) and it lased for about 3 seconds then shut off, i took the battery out and it was so hot i had to drop it, tried two other batteries and no lase, but the batteries heated up just the same as the first. Any ideas what happened?

I don't really know, but I would think either the diode or driver might have fried; maybe both. The battery is supposed to go in so it's case positive, I didn't even think the back cap would make contact with the flat end. I have no idea why it even turned on though if the battery was in wrong
