I sold these a while back and was saving this one potentially as a gift but it never happened so I'm just going to sell it. It's output is right around 25mW w/ Kirkland [Costco] AAAs (a bit more w/ good Duracells). PM me if you are interested or have offers!

IIRC they're SLIGHTLY different, not by much though.

I was kinda curious, how easy would it be to say move a Opto module into one of these hosts?

They're quite different.

DragonLasers Vipers are GLPs from CNI (If I'm not mistaken). This unit is a fairly common Chinese clone. It's a decent looking unit, but nowhere near similar when you have them up close.

I had this guy, but in the "200mW" version. It lasted 3 minutes.
50mW 532nm Open-Back Green Laser Pointer Pen BGP3032(2 x AAAincluded)

It's still a decent looking unit, and for $20 from Swim, at least you know you're getting 25mW that works, instead of gambling on "50mW" from LasersMan (or any similar Chinese site). But it's definitely positively not going to look or feel or endure like a Viper/Rigel/GLP. (Which is probably fine because their cost is nowhere similar).

I should probably have specified i was on about exterior similarities rather than build quality.
