SOLD!!! 700mW+ 405nm FS!!! With 3-element!!! 950mW w/ G-2

Hey guys!

I recently got one of Lazeerer's 405nm diodes and built it into a very elegant ehgemus host. According to Lazeerer, when you are using a G-lens it outputs 950mW at only 578mA!!! In my own testing, it does about 700mW with the included 3-element glass lens. I don't happen to have a G-lens or I would test and sell it with that. Here is the datasheet Lazeerer sent with my diode, showing that it does 950mW of 407nm at 578mA.

That last one was supposed to end up being a beamshot, but the family wouldn't turn the damn lights off so I could get a decent exposure. Everything came out great except the beam lol so i am just calling it a host shot

Beamshots were really hard to get with this thing as it kept overloading my camera's nice sensor. I finally ended up getting some decent shots but as you can see, there were some overloady ones as well.

Diode: Lazeerer's Special "1W" 405nm Diodes
Driver: Lazeerer X-Boost set to 578mA
Host: Ehgemus Host
Focus Adapter: Thin disc style, been saving this one for a sweet build.
Battery Config: 1 x 18650, positive to tailcap.

So now that you have seen it, yes I am putting it up for sale to get some funds together to buy a tablet for school. I am asking 200 shipped anywhere in the US. IMPORTANT NOTE: THIS LASER IS HOST POSITIVE, UNLIKE MANY DIODE BUILDS. So if you buy it, don't stick dem batts in backwards.

Wow amazing laser and power!

These lazeerer diodes are super nice.

You can´t get another wavelength in the single mode package with that power for such a price.

Beats a 2W 445nm at distance burning with ease.

That's a lot of 405 power there! It won't care what you point it at because it will burn the crap out of it.

Awesome. Contemplating wether or not I want to throw a G2 on it or not. Have you used a G2 on it at all?

put a g lens on there. more power, thiner beam, comparable divergence

I havent owned a g2 lens in a ling time but you will get an extra 30% power so I would.

those o-like ones were just confirmed to work ok, they're only $11 or so + shipping.

No contemplating there. That's a must.

I read somewhere on here that the G2 let's through more light but doesn't tighten the beam as much as a 3 element. So G2 is better for burning and 3 element is for a tighter beam. Correct me if I'm wrong cause I very well could be lol

G2 will have a tighter beam but wont be as clean. So you will have some artifacts and spare light with the g2 while the 3 element will be much cleaner, ie just the dot
