SOLD

Hi Guys,

I'd like to sell a laser I don't really use. Like it a lot, and it has very little run time (maybe half hour total), but it's a waste since it just sits in my desk drawer:

Here's a review of the laser, please read the review thoroughly:

LPM Graph and Some pictures, same as the ones in the review:

As you can see this laser is quite overspec, consistently peaking at over 290mW on a freshly charged battery. It is great for burning, and produces a visible beam indoors with lights off:eg:

Price is $55 plus shipping. US only.

The laser will come with a key, the barrel extension for 18650 batteries, and one fully charged rechargeable 18650 battery.

:thanks: for looking.

Not to burst yours, but off the website it's coming from china and at 200mW.

Mine is coming from east coast US, shipped priority so it will be just about anywhere in the US in 3 days, not two weeks plus;)

Also it's rather overspec, and has been reviewed in detail... specifically the one I'm selling:can:

Not to burst your bubble of bursting my bubble, but the shipping from lazerer is about 9 days, and almost all of their lasers are over-spec, but i suppose the shipping and the review, about even it out.

Re: FS: 270mW Red 650nm Laser

Lol, Fine you guys, I'll drop the price to $65 shipped, now someone take it:p

Btw, I got one of those mini greens from lazerer... and paid for an lpm test. Even though it was advertised as 100mW, it actually comes in at ~85. Around 15mW of that is IR content.

The lpm chart was 100% honest though, and I wasn't expecting to get 100mW out of that small of a laser anyway.

IMHO sending back a laser which is under $100 is too much of a hassle to deal with unless it's plain DOA, slightly underspec I'm ok with.

Also IMHO a laser is in advertised spec as long as it's +/- 10% of advertised output. So all things considered, $35 (which is what I paid for that mini green) was a decent price for a pure green 70mW laser. Again imho, for greens a 1mW for $1.50 is what i think the average price point should be... although there are better and worse deals all the time.

Anyway, back on topic... $65 shipped anyone?

Re: FS: 270mW Red 650nm Laser

^^^Thanks for the support guys.

The laser is focusable, and IMHO has one of the best approaches to focusing out there... the top part just screws out... when it's screwed in all the way like you see in the pictures it's focused to infinity, when it's screwed out about halfway it's perfect for burning, and when it screwed out all the way (you cant' take it out, so no worries about that) you get a very divergent beam... basically beach ball size at ~10 feet or so.

Part of the reason I lowered the price is with the 16340 battery the laser is somewhat flawed, it's too tight inside and puts too much pressure on the driver, which results in a button that is too light too press. Works perfectly with a short 18650 though.. which is what I did the initial testing and review with. I would recommend any cheap unprotected cell for this laser, and it's perfect that way:)
