I gave it some SERIOUS thought and still am considering it especially since it has both tailcaps.

Re: FS: CNI PGL-III-C-449.3nm & OPTOTRONICS RPL-425

Aquariuslaser was the first one ready to buy it, but he doesn´t want it any longer.

Here is what Daguin aka Dave wrote about it about 2 weeks ago
With a good battery the laser peaks above 425mW and then settles in at ~380mW for the long haul. It *may* do even better with an AW or a Sanyo battery.

The laser has no *major* dents or dings, but it definitely looks "used." The finish is NOT bad. It just has many small blemishes. It does NOT look "damaged", but it does not look "new."

The beam looks clean and is TEM00 or near TEM00

I do not know what you and the seller have discussed, but "operationally" it is close enough to spec to be acceptable for a used laser.

I measured 410mW average and 440mW peak.

RPL comes with a case.

Hey DJNY,

I'm definitely interested in the Optotronics RPL-425. As I wrote in the other thread, this laser is a dream! But why you want to sell the beauty? I try to send you a PM.

Bye,
Oliver

If you want an overspec CNI 447nm with a cherry picked higher wavelength, this would be your best deal! Laserglow is selling the same laser for $989 before shipping.
