Re: Deal of the day round 5

You should make a larger batch of these DTR. To much of a great deal.

What's the power output with a 445 lens?

Actually that would be a good option. I would drop $45 if someone wanted to go with a 405 Aixiz Glass instead.;)

What current are you pulling to get 1.6W?
Are the AW's mandatory?
Thanks bro, Nice build ;)

That is actually good info to add to my build tutorial. It is pulling 2A.

I like AW brand batteries but there are probably others that would work. The only question is how long they will work and AW's tend to live up to their ratings.

wow still a good power reading with the aixiz lens. Better dot too.

It is pulling 2A from the battery. Since it needs to boost the voltage it pulls more from the battery than it puts out to the diode. Unlike a linear driver that the current being pushed to the diode is the same as what is being drawn from the battery and it can be read this way.;)
