I have had this in the corner of my closet for several years so it must go.
I originally bought it to mod a few motherboards but found out that a few well placed microclips gave me the same results, good thing because my soldering skills stink! :barf:
I have not used it but did fire it up after I bought to make sure it works and it does.
I saved the reciept so you can see everything that comes with it (I forgot to image the tip cleaner but it will be included)

I would like $55 shipped but you can PM me with a counter offer, postal M.O. only please.

Thanks as always,
Ray

Re: FS: Soldering station

You might want to tell the wattage of this iron. Many people here should have one like this.

HMike

I'll open the bidding at $50. All you guys asking how to solder, here's the start. This is how we solder small wires and SMT components.
Also, those extra tips are $2 to 3 per each. Are you gonna let me take this from you for $50 ???

Ray --

Thanks -- 40 Watts is just super for most of what we do on here except for heavy loads on heat sinks. This is a good deal especially with 3 extra tips.

Re: FS: Soldering station

Soo often I see members here state that they can't solder or don't have the equipment.
This will no longer be an excuse after this offering. Soldering is a simple art with a good iron system. Buy it or be quiet.

Re: FS: Soldering station

I add my positive opinion to this thread, if someone want a decent soldering iron, this is to buy, at this price.

I already have an Elto (soldering), two Weller (soldering and desoldering), plus, probably, 8 or 10 portable soldering irons, dispersed here and there :p ..... and this thing seem a good station at a very good price, especialy considering that the soldering iron is a good type (no side screws :p), and have also a spare heater element (damn, here you pay around 150$ equivalent, for a decent station ..... not big brands, just decent :p))

Ray

It's no problem. I was still on the fence about it anyways. Glad someone took it off your hands though. :D

Snooze, you lose guys. Pyro got a good deal on this one.
Maybe someone should make a GB for soldering irons. If you are in this hobby, you gotta have the tools.
