Re: FS: 300mW Red 650nm in Colman Max Host

I love the coleman max hosts! I remember when moh was selling these on ebay years ago. In fact I believe thats how I found this place!
These hosts are very nice. Very solid and have a quality/sturdy feel to them.
If I didnt have a LOC in an aixiz module waiting to go into something I would be all over this.

Thanks.:) Yea this Host is Awesome. Its one of my favorite especially for Red laser because of the Red ring around the tail clicky.

Power has also been test with a LPM.;)

Hey lazeerer. I have spare LOC diodes and one of this hosts. I do have some lm1117's too. Would you share the driver design please? Hope it's not lame or something. I just have everything I need to build one like this, I think.

lame.?

Its the same design you did on your PHR-803T Hotlight build but using a 3ohm Resistor.:)

It's just that its more or less your design. Anyway it seems you do not have a problem, so, do you use a capacitor before the diode and what current do you achieve with this setup?

Yea i use a capacitor before the diode and the currant was set to 417mA. + I have Hetsinked the chip for best performance.
