Re: FS RPL 165

I recall a guy had trouble selling his 380mW Viasho laser for $600... If you want to sell in a decent amount of time you might want to lower the price...

Re: FS RPL 165

How do you get tired of your laser and want to sell it after 9 days? If nothing else you should just keep it as a cool toy that you can have fun with whenever you want. When a really foggy night comes around you'll be glad you have it. You can also show it to company and friends. Unless you're really hurting for money you should keep it.

And How Old was that Viasho? scrached? dropped? taken apart and diddled with? under warranty? who knows???

:-/ Gee'z leweeez, talk about muddying the waters, THANKS DUDE! the ads only been up for a few hours, give a guy a chance, I usually sell stuff way too cheap anyway This is as good as new why would I want to shoot myself in the foot before I even get out of the gate by lowering the price? What $375 is that fair? then they offer me $300? Fair that's not fair. I bet more peolple have heard of an RPL than a Viasho (except those that take em apart and diddle with them to supposedly improve what the factory did) not to mention $450 a little easier to swallow than $600 for a used laser. A new RPL165 is $522 + shipping and insurance. SO IF ANYONE WANTS TO SAVE $90 to $100 IGNORE SPYROCKS ADVICE.. This things been out of the case 3 times and it's under warranty. Lower my price? is $450 not fair? Make me an offer!

I would say a decent amount of people on this forum have heard of a Viasho. And keep in mind the current state of the economy, people just don't have money like they used to. Your best bet is probably to ask Optotronics for a refund/to buy the laser back.

I'm not tired of it, I'm just an impulsive person.
Actually I will be getting a low power pencil laser for keeps, this mother is for the more enthusiastic laser freak that's into burning and what not, I want somthing I can stick in my pocket ::)

Re: FS RPL 165

Isn't the RPL a Viasho?  "What $375 is that fair? then they offer me $300?"  I'll give you $300.00 for it :)

Are the Optotronic warranties transferable???

RPL165 Puts out 178mw as per spec sheet. I just purchased my first laser Dec 3rd and I guess I don't know what to do with this thing, it burns tape, pops balloons, lights up the sky now what?
I just wanted the best but I don't think the hobby is for me :'( Includes case and charger. It's silver and is in new condition!  You can see it's picture in the review sec.  $450 and I'll insure and pay shipping, when you buy a new one you'll pay about $550 with shipping and insurance.

Wow what a great site, guy tries to sell a nice unit at a fair price and gets nothin but critcism and bullshit!
Why would some people want to sabotage a possible sale? what do you gain? are you jealous? I'm in a sailing forum and a motorcycle forum too, must say this one's a little different

Woah... dude... cool down...

(you might want to go the yourself)
What the the is your point? Why would you post such a negative piece of shit after my legitimate post, can't you find something else to do you little piece of shit. You are right though, I bet if I sold it for $50 it would sell faster...Genious...WTF?

Whats with all the hate in the PM and in this thread against other people?

I was simply offering you advice, Viashio is the same brand as your RPL unit, and there was another member who was trying to sell a perfectly fine 380mW Viashio laser here, and it took a few weeks if I recall correctly, so I was suggesting that if you wanted to sell this quickly you might want to lower the price to spike a little bit of interest, because if a nice 380mW unit for $600 didn't go fast, this certainly isn't going to for $450. You don't need to start throwing insults around for no reason.
