I am selling my newest build. It has an electronic side switch which make it very easy to operate. It contains the 500mW 638nm Mitsubishi diode and has an maximum output of 1 Watt. The laser uses 3x 14500 rechargeable cells. Operating with two cells or only one cell is possible albeit shorter runtime.
The laser has standard two mode, high and low. In HIGH mode it has an output of 1 Watt and LOW it delivers 220mW. Still impressive red beam in the dark.

The lens is the 650nm G1 AR coated lens for the maximum performance.
The laser is focusable.
The duty cycle is 60sec on/30sec off in HIGH mode and unlimited on in LOW mode.

The price is $250
Registered shipping worldwide is $25
Registered shipping Europe is $20

PM if you want one or have any questions.

LOVE IT! I really like that host.

LOVE IT! I really like that host.

Thanks, I am losing money with this laser. I have killed already one 500mW diode on this build in a stupid accident. :(

Re: For sale : 1 Watt 638nm red laser

Great host you chose there and I love the fact you modded the driver successfully! ;) :gj:

Re: For sale : 1 Watt 638nm red laser

$250 ?? you're practically giving it for free u know that ??
You could have asked $300+ with this kinda epic builds

Re: For sale : 1 Watt 638nm red laser

It's nice to see another color for sell, then all the 445nm's.
Good price too :)

Congratz to the one that buy's it, looks like a nice build once again.

Cheers, Sm.

Re: For sale : 1 Watt 638nm red laser

Hi

What driver did you use for it? and heat sink? How hard was it to set to get a watt out of her?

How does the beam spot look? It looks pretty round on the sensor on the lpm. I thought these 638nm diodes make it kind of square esp. used with the g1 lens.

Thank you in advance for entertaining my curiosity.

PM sent. Just curious on what driver was used and the current set. As well does this package include the batteries?

Re: For sale : 1 Watt 638nm red laser

Once again NICE BUILD!! You really should mention the beam properties of these diodes when selling a build like this though. Many of the noobs and even some vets are not familiar with the horrible divergence and beam profile. I know of a couple such people who were very disappointed with their purchases from other sellers on here. You will have no issue selling it, especially at this price but I feel these diodes really do warrant full disclosure as to the beam properties in every sales listing. I make it a point to do so with each one I sell (though I rarely build them because of said properties) Just a suggestion, take it or leave it.

Re: For sale : 1 Watt 638nm red laser

Yes, the beam spec is kinda horrible. It is even worse than the 445nm M140 diode.
I have made a comparison a while ago. It is here, http://laserpointerforums.com/f48/canon-dslr-beamshots-638nm-445nm-laser-67532.html

People should know that all high-power diodes, like the 500mW Mitsubishi diode don't have a nice dot and that the dot is more a bar shaped.
But you will have a 1Watt 638nm laser holding in your hands. And that is pretty awesome. :)

I have a review about this laser. It will tell you more about the build. http://laserpointerforums.com/f52/1-watt-638nm-rook-laser-3x14500-77125.html
