I have not seen many, if any of these hosts built into lasers, so I decided to go ahead and do it. It is a pretty cool host, well constructed and feels great in the hand.
I built the laser using an A140 diode, flexdrive set to 1.35A and a 3 element glass Aixiz lense, then used a custom focus adapter that I thought would add to the appearance. I think the fins on the host kind of add a bit of a mean look to it as well.
The laser runs off a single 14500 and has a duty cycle of 1 minute on and 1 minute off.
Buyer must own safetly glasses, be over 18 years old and understand and practice laser safety.
