Re: FS: 1.3W Blue Hotlights ($110)

I live in Germany. Is it the three layer glass lens which produces a nice, clean dot?

Three aspect lens - yep. It produces a clean dot.

Technically, it produces a rectangle (all 445s), but focussed properly, it appears as a dot. It's pretty much the default coated glass lens that all lasers here would be sold with, unless you opt for some of the more expensive $50 + G1 etc lenses.

Re: FS: 1.3W Blue Hotlights ($110)

Last update -

Blue Hotlights, lens-less (I'm running low, but you can order your own for ~$6 here or here etc) for, total SHIPPED of $100 Canadian.

After I cover shipping, that's just barely over cost to make them. But right now I basically either sell them and ship them by around 3pm monday, or they're going in a box, moving thousands of miles with me, and then maybe 3 weeks from now I can look at selling them again (but I'll be in a new city, lots of new demands on my time, etc).

So, $100 (Canadian) includes shipping. No lens. But I can point you in a few good directions for lenses under $10 bucks.

Tomorrow will be chaotic for me - so PM me (as opposed to only replying in this thread) if you'd like to buy one. This isn't "scientific", but I think the time deadline (before I either have to pack, or to ship these) is around 3pm eastern.

Cheers all.

Re: 1.3W Blue Hotlights ($100) - No Longer For Sale

Hotlights are now available again (they made the journey to my new address safely this afternoon!)

$120 CAD or $130 USD + shipping.

Include a glass 445nm coated lens. (they didn't when I was selling them previously, but they do now).

Re: FS: 1.2W Blue Hotlights ($120)

A couple PMs have come in about shipping, so I thought I'd add the comment that if anyone is unsure about shipping to their location, I'll offer $20 flat rate Expedited Parcel to wherever you are, OR you can still use a different shipping method if you'd like to price it out precisely.

Re: FS: 1.2W Blue Hotlights ($110)

I totally forgot that I had a bunch of bids in on that hurrersciences auction :(
On account of that surprise expense this afternoon, I'm lowering the price here again!

$110 (CAD) or $120 (USD)
+ $20 Shipping to anywhere!

And I'll literally ship it the hour after payment arrives today.

It's hard to beat this price. Barely above cost - just basically want to get a few dollars in the good old pp account :)

Cheers

So the fact that it didn't just get scooped up by someone with 10 posts, and 0 rep, is kind of exactly what I was hoping for.

Believe me, I appreciate the power :)

How long is the duty cycle? How long do you think the lifetime of the diode is?

Re: FS: 1.2W Blue Hotlights ($110)

Duty cycle should probably be kept to 2 or 3 minutes at a time.

Lifetime is almost impossible to predict - I don't think anyone knows with these 445nm diodes.

Added a new photo that shows just the remaining hotlight on it's own, front-on. Also, I hadn't mentioned this before, but the hotlight comes with a nylon pouch/case.

If you need shipping that fast to the philippines from canada, it is crazy expensive. Like $75 +.
Let me know if you're still interested.
