Default SOLD: 1.2W "Black Beauty" - Silver Crown, Huge Polished Heatsink, Modular Design

This is one of those hosts that was a lot of fun to build in. The heatsink design is totally enclosed and modular (see second photo). Disassembly is still, even post-build, super easy. (though don't disassemble after purchase, just take my word for it!)

- It's a Ray J Neal designed heatsink (it's huge, 3X the mass you see from that outside!)
- 1.2W LPM'd output w/ the included lens
- Aixiz coated 445nm Lens
- 1085 based LDO driver
- Powered by 2x 18350 or 2x 16340 (CR123)

May or may not be reverse polarity protection (I don't remember at this stage, and I generally don't put that in lasers I never plan to sell). So be safe, don't install your batteries backwards!

I loved this guy. Hadn't planned to sell him, but I'm trying to downsize the collection. This has been one of my favorites. Again, this modular design is really cool!

You must have adequate safety goggles to purchase this laser.

I've created a Paypal pay button to avoid any confusion with multiple people trying to purchase this item. This button will track the sale and make sure that only the first person to submit payment is able to do so:

$200 plus $10 shipping (anywhere)

The way the heatsink focus lens and the assault crown go together is beautiful. :O
If the whole host were polished i think this thing would look like it's from the future.
Although being in black definitely sets it off nicely.

Thanks for the kind words guys!

Polished, this WOULD look amazing.

In fact, because of the modular build style, you could easily polish this host even now, without the diode or driver even being in the same room with you

The Physical size of the laser module part, was perhaps thinking of putting it into a different host (chrome) as i don't think i have the materials needed to polish that up. ><

Oh, I don't think you'd have any luck with that. It took quite a bit of time for Ray to may this heatsink design work for this host. Seeing how it fits together (it sort of fits in to two different sections of the host, and has 3 different widths).

If you'd like, you could have me ship the host to a different (as long as they are reputable) forum member with the ability to polish the host. I could even ship the pieces disconnected from each other so that the polisher would be able to unwrap just the host portion, without any concerns about touching the laser components themselves.

Also awesome. Between this and that red one you are selling I may be interested in either.

Hey,

Since I want to avoid any chaos with more than one person requesting paypal info, and then potentially more than one person coming through with payment, I thought this would be an easier approach. Instead of paypalling me with my email address, here's a link:

EDIT: Sold

This will track inventory (which is 1 unit) and make sure that it can only be purchased once. Hope this is a fair / simple way to avoid confusion

Cheers
