Hi guys,

Well the hobby is still somewhat there for me but I am not as active and there are various wavelengths I just have not used much recently and I could do with the money, so the following objects are going for sale. Would prefer to sell to UK (or EU) members, and if I do the batteries will be included.

This one has had a long history, owned by several members of this forum and travelled across continents. Its finicky, like most small host 593.5s, but once warmed up it shines fantastically bright enough to see the beam in a darkened room even without mist or smoke. A beautiful wavelength, the original DPSS yellow, but I'm now happy with my 589 and happy to have experienced "594", now willing to pass on to another careful owner.

I'm looking for £130 for this (it's about $200 give or take), including postage for UK buyers, negotiable for US buyers.

I'm also selling my 445 1.6W, or "hell burner" as my pal likes to call it.

Probably not worth much as it's only a laserbtb 1.6W model, however very low run hours and always sensible duty cycles. I will miss this, as it's a beautiful colour and fantastic star pointer, if you like having your night vision buggered up! Asking £60 for this inclusive of postage, negotiable if outside UK. That's around $100 for those of you in the US.

I'm also open to selling my lab 473, I bought this from a UK seller at £150 and after only very light use I'm looking to sell it at the same price and here's why - I will include the PC power supply I've rigged up to power it (this is required for modulation otherwise it won't lase) to save you faffing about doing it. Although it's missing its side (I got it like this) this is still a cracking deal for a complete unit that lases stably with a beam very visible indoors. UK buyers I ask £10 for postage (it will be expensive to send as I pack well and it's not light) US buyers negotiable.

That's about all I have that's either worth selling or that I don't want to keep, no my 532 and 589 are not up for sale :p

additions - laser safety goggles

I forgot about these initially but my goggles are a small collection in and of itself

from the above image I'm going to be getting rid of the ARG Argon style goggles on the left, these were very expensive when I bought them from the USA, I'd like £50 of them inclusive of postage (UK) negotiable overseas. I don't need these anymore as I'm selling the 445.

the light blue eagle pair (mid right) are going as well, these are only OD2.5 580-660nm, I suspect these are worth little probably only £15 or so plus a bit of postage.

its a real beaut. Should be black but all the paint has been removed to expose the brass underneath. Want it?

No idea, and it was LPM'ed a long time ago so might not be putting out exact figures. It's very finicky but once warmed up remarkably stable for a handheld 594 and visible beam.

The orange-yellow beam in the following image is the Rigel laser.

I am actually having second thoughts about selling, tbh.

I am actually having second thoughts about selling, tbh.

Looks like ~60mw to me, but reasonably bright for a yellow-orange pen laser for sure.
If you're having second guesses about selling it, I strongly recommend you keep it. There's likely a good reason for keeping it that you're forgetting about, or at the least, you on some level feel as though you could derive further use from it yet. I know the itching feeling "perhaps this isn't the best idea", and it is rarely beneficial to not listen to it.

If you do, however, decide with absolute surety you'd like to sell it, I call dibs! Haha. Nonetheless, I wouldn't want to let go of it either.

I very much doubt it's 60mW. I think the original owner metered it at 15mW peak or something like that. Part of me wants to keep it because I feel that due to the amount of owners it's had and the wear and tear, its value has dropped below that I feel it's worth. To sell it at the price people would pay for it is an injustice.. So I probably will end up keeping it. I do want shot of the 473 though!

Hi,
To bad your not in the states, like the 594nm pen. Just don't care to worry about customs issues and loosing it .

I've actually sold the 594 now as well. Customs won't be a problem as it's not a blatantly obvious powerhouse and the fact that it peaks so high is really an anomaly (part of the beauty of this dpss process is how unpredictable it can be) as they are really only rated for a few mW.
