Firstly, could you have the laser sitting on a piece of paper, with your LPF username and date written on it, and the laser sitting on it too? That's standard practice here with any sale.

Secondly, would you be willing to use a middleman for this sale, who would test the laser?

Thirdly, I do have my doubts about the power output. Is this laser IR filtered? Quite a bit of the light may not be green, but IR output. Do you have a power graph on a calibrated meter?

Also, there's no way that could hold a constant-on duty cycle. Laserglow, who offers constant-on 700mW handheld units, has to use a fan to keep theirs cool. O-Like has a 60 second duty cycle on their units.

The laser itself looks like the O-Like portable green hosts. This host design was also used by BOBLaser at one point in time.

Hey goninanbl00d. Sorry about not doing things according to procedure. I'm new and haven't really sold anything here before.

I would be willing to use a middleman for this sale. Unfortunately I don't know who would do this...maybe you can recommend someone.

The laser is definitely IR filtered. Most of that light is pure green. I'm quite sure that this is a constantly on duty cycle as I have used it continously for well over 60 seconds without it getting hot. It has a great cooling system.

To answer your question, no, I don't have a power graph. However, maybe the person that is testing it can make one.

Sorry about the confusion, my intent is not to confuse people or make them misinterpret anything.

No offense but you can buy a brand new 1w green from Wicked for $300. Ok, yes, your scratch built it no doubt made from higher quality components and the WL probably comes in at 800mw, but it still has a nice host, continuous duty cycle and a waranty!

And other places sell similar lasers for much less than what you're asking, new.

Be honest, is this just a case where you spent a lot on it not too long ago and just can't bare to take such a huge loss on it?

Because that's kind of how it goes when it comes to high tech stuff like this...

Anyway not trying to be a dick, but I noticed a lot of ads for used lasers selling for a lot more than similarly specced new ones... Just trying to understand WHY.

Plase show me where you can get a 700mW (if it really is) for less than $800...

Thread-starter,
is it possible to take some picture or vids in action?

I want to know that also... of course you can get 800mw and even 1w labels for less than US$300. A 1W label with a 250mw laser.

Ok ok mr foot, please meet mr mouth. I SO wanted to avoid being the guy who fell back on saying "hey I iz just a n00b" but I guess I blew it.

I thought the arctic was in blue AND green, but its not. Still, the S2 is a 500mw green for $200, not a bad deal.

But I looked around and if you want more than 500mw in green, the prices do get into the $650+ range.

So even though I'm an idiot for opening my mouth about cheap green 1w, I don't know how many people will spend $800 for 700mw green when you can get a 500mw for a quarter of the price...

I'd be willing to measure and confirm the output if the seller wishes. :)

The Spyder II series is silly, while it's power is good if it's real, the Spyder IIs have modes now, low, medium, high, beacon and strobe.
