Hello.
I have recently brought 2 450mw Green lasers. I have figured that I realy don't need two so I am going to sell one. This is one of the only places I can think of which will alow me to sell a Laser pen in the Uk. The sorce that I got these from said that they were 'over spec' from 450mw. The laser is focusable when you unskrew the cap, It is made with very tough alloy I belive, It has a shutter on the front to stop dust collecting. It has LED's under the button to tell you when its ready (Blue) and when it is being activated (Red). The laser is from O-like for those who could not tell so I don't think they were lieing about the power output, I have put Images of the website up.

With this package you will recive: Laser pen, 3 Li' Ion Batteries, Li' Ion Charger, Pen Keys, A lab stand.
(If you wish to come and pick it up please don't hesitate to ask)

Here are a few pictures I have taken of the second laser pen (If anyone wishes for me to use the other one please say):

(I know I can print screen but I wan't you to know it is real)

I am asking for $250 as of now as the original price was $400 half a year ago.

Hey Cuddly Ninja,

I feel silly saying this about a 450mW green laser, but you might want to lower your price of $400 if you want a better shot at selling it.

You're new here, and you don't have an LPM to test the power of this laser. That's going to be a BIG detriment to selling it right off the bat. It makes this laser an "unknown".

At $400 US thats a lot for a laser that is potentially 450mW, but untested, and sold by someone new to the boards. For comparison, a "450mW power certified" LPM'd laser from dinodirect that looks similar can be had for ~$250:
Firedragon-

To be clear, DinoDirect is not the mark of "high reputation" around here, but they do (supposedly) test these "power certified" lasers on an LPM, and they do offer refunds/exchanges if not up to power specs. At the very least, they're less of an unknown than someone new on these boards, without an LPM.

Or at least - that's where my head would be going if I was thinking about purchasing another high powered green. Just my $0.02

Cuddly:

Not saying you're sketchy at all - please don't take it that way :)

It's just the nature of what's known and not know about your laser. I think you'd probably have to drop your price to below the $250 that dino is selling their's for to grab a sale here. :(

@Cuddly Ninja

Unfortunately without an LPM reading you're going to need a lot of luck to sell this. It might help you to post as much documentation as possible... Such as where you bought the lasers from originally, invoice, etc.. anything to make this less of an unknown.

@rhd

Very on point. Yet another reason I want to get an LPM as soon as possible. Inevitably I know I'm going to want to sell at least some of my lasers as my collection changes, and without an LPM measurement there is really no way I would be able to offer any kind of subjective measurement regarding output.

It's good to know it's from O-Like

But you can't tell from the design ;) That's a common host.

I will post a picture of the packaging in a minute, that could clear things up.

Edit: I have now posted some images with the o-like packaging, and lowered the price a bit.

@Cuddly Ninja

As rhd points out, that's a common looking host. O-like has a good reputation though, so that should help. If you weren't over the pond from me I'd consider bidding.

Good luck :)

Thanks but I know this is not going to sell very well, I think I may have to try and get a refund of some sort, I am saving up for a better Co2 Laser.

Most auction sites have rules against lasers, but usually these rules are not enforced well;)

Is there a UK version of Craigslist?

If I were you, I'd try contacting o-like to see if they would take it back. I highly doubt you'll sell for the price you're asking. At least for anyone who researches the laser at all.

Still, good luck to you, and let us know how it works out.

I have the 350mw version of this from o-like. its the OLNG model. i did a comprehensive review of mine in the reviews section. mine is over the 350mw rating, has decent beam geometry although a bit thick out of the aperture and is quite stable. you can see my review. so this 400-450mw is a decent deal.
