I wish you sold yours a few months ago! I just bought the EXACT same laser (HL 300mW) and thought I'd add my two cents:

* High current draw (mine draws 1500mA). It goes through a good 16340 in about 20/30 minutes. It will NOT fit an 18350.

* It takes time to "warm up". It will change brightness levels as it does. I have seen it as dim as 50mW or so. Once it's warmed up, it's super bright. But the beam still is not as bright as I thought it would be. Also divergence is so-so.

* The button is a constant-on clickie. But it's not instant, there is half-second delay before it turns on.

Overall a good laser though. The host feels fantastic quality & the focusing is very precise. But the warm-up is what kills it for me. What do you think?

Did you order it with IR filter installed?
Also, I understand you might not have an LPM, but do you have anything you can gauge the power by? Like will it ignite fresh steel wool?
I think I'm overdue for a big boy green laser. The most powerful DPSS I've ever owned was 70mw filtered
WTB very much
