Thanks for the kind words.
Personally I really like the MX900 host as you have some flexibility with the power source and the heatsink is killer. :eg:
Given the power source and the duty cycle they should easily go for $300+. Am a little surprised not to receive any offers.....they are rock solid !!

The 2nd in the " The Scorcher " series was completed and will be posting pics and power output shortly.

So, I now have 2 rock solid 445's both of which are over 3w in power....and are anxious to find a new home !!

What were the ambient air temps at the time of the LPM graph?

Rock Solid indeed! I am surprised as well, but sales move slowly on the BST.

The air temp was around 75 degrees at the time of testing and if I remember the a/c was running at the time as well.
Yes, sometimes things can take a while before finally finding a new home. I am sure these will be purchased and I hope to be able to build a few more.

Im new to this but created an account to say share what i found. At the bottom of this link firearms and weapons it seems to say that parts of lasers are not controlled so importing them separately is fine. Please let me know if anyone succeeds in doing this because i would love one of these laser Moe. Not sure why they haven't been scooped up already

Thanks for showing interest. Was another of your countrymen also interested and seems the only way to get them through is in parts and more than one package.
While I would be happy to try I believe shipping cost would make it too expensive.
If I remember there is a builder that lives in Aussie and he may be of assistance in building you a good one.
Always wanted to tour there......maybe in another life !!

WOW! Moe. This is beyond my dreams. Fantastic! The power is scary and I was not ready for how good this host looks and how functional it is. The heat sink and the host's fins together make for an excellent duty cycle.

Feels fantastic in the had and the size is befitting all this wattage.

The polish by Mr Crouse on the heat sink is excellent and the focus knob is smooth and not overly loose. Love the 4 position switch.

Can't wait for nightfall.

It surely is not a toy and always need the proper safety when using it. You are so correct on the host looking awesome and being the right feel and weight. With the adapter sleeves you do not need to have 26650's and can use the 18650's. I much prefer the 26650's though, both for power and weight.
Was running my personal one earlier on 50% and after almost 15 minutes was just starting to get a little too warm. With the Mrcrouse heatsink and this host the duty cycle is also awesome.
Am looking forward to seeing some pics from you later :gun:
